Gaze

In the Genesis account, at the end of Creation, God pauses to look at His work “God saw what he had made, and behold, it was very good”.
God’s gaze on the world and on those who dwell in it tells us a story of relationship, beauty, and love. And his son, Jesus, shows us that only by looking at the world with a gaze of love, for its beginning and development, will we learn how to take care of it for future generations who will in turn be able to experience that beauty for which the Father has created us (LS 96).
