“Praise be you, my Lord, through our Sister Water, who is very humble and precious and chaste”
Water is a common and universal good (LS 30). It is very precious and essential for life, for integral development, and for the protection of human rights. We have the responsibility to protect it and use it with sobriety, gratitude and fairness. Only thus will justice and peace dwell on Earth. “Humble” as it is, water is today at the center of a great cultural, spiritual and educational challenge that must bring about a change in lifestyles and an ecological conversion.
